78, a resident of 18704 Lakeland Dr., Lewis, DE, died Wednesday, December 6 at Christianna Hospital in Wilmington, DE. He was a native of Smithfield, VA, the son of the late Early Blount, Sr. and Evangeline Burnett Blount. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Annie Paschall Blount; two sons, Andre and Dwayne; a sister, Earline Ford of Smithfield, VA; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five brothers-in-law, Judge Harper, Mack Eaton, George Paschall, Larry Robinson and Toney Paschall; four sisters-in-law, Phyllis Blount, Ida P. Jones, Warlene Robinson and Mary Harper.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 16 at 11:00 A.M. at Wright Funeral Home by Rev. Tolokun Omokunde and Minister Cynthia Bradshaw. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors two hours prior to services at Wright Funeral Home.
