66, a resident of the Bronx, NY, died Wednesday, April 24 at Monteflore Medical Center. He was a native of Warren County, the son of the late John Williams, Jr., and Mattie Bullock Williams.

He is survived by a son Earl Newkirk of Jersey City, NJ; a daughter, Tonya Cox of Raleigh; one grandson, Rashawn D. Williams of Raleigh; five sisters, Mattie Gilchrist, Rosa Williams and Clara Terry all of Henderson, Pearline Richardson of Warrenton, and Gloria Richardson of Manson; and one uncle, Dennis Bullock.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 8 at 3:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Minister Carrie Alexander. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the home of Mattie Gilchrist, 228 Barclay Lane in Henderson.
