72, a resident of 1395 White Farm Lane, Manson. He was the son of the late Robert Hunter and Pattie Ward Hunter. He was an employee of CertainTeed Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Pastor Ethel Johnson Hunter; two children, Tiffany Hunter of Raleigh and Jonathan Earl Hunter (Jezreel) of Fuquay-Varina; four sisters, Vivian Harris of Oxford, Carmen Shelton (Fred) of Browns Summit, Clementine Hunter and Dorothy Taylor (Robert) both of Henderson.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, January 1 at 2pm at Grace Fellowship COGOP Church by Pastor Ethel Johnson Hunter. Burial will be Tuesday, January 2 in Sunset Gardens at 10am. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, December 31 at Wright Funeral Home from 2pm-4pm. Facial coverings will be mandatory at all services.
