Dossie Melvin McAden, 59, of Henry Wilson Road, transitioned on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Duke University Hospital. He was born in Granville County to Rosa Blackwell McAden and the late Robert Lee McAden, Sr. He was employed for many years at J.F. Webb High School.

He is survived by his mother, Rosa McAden of Brooklyn, NY; sisters: Lavern M. Mudiwa of Durham, Margaret McAden of Oxford, Vickie McAden of Manhattan, NY and Stephanie Hargrove of Oxford; his twin brother, Robert L. McAden and brother, James Ravenell of Philadelphia, PA.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12 noon, Sunday, January 26 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Apostle Hilda Stevens-Antoine.
