83, a resident of 1205 West C Street, Butner, died Sunday, April 3 at Duke Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Haywood Russell and Nellie Tuck Russell.

She is survived by five nieces, Julia Russell, Deloris Johnson, Catherine Russell, Sheila Latta and Belinda Russell; and three nephews, Cornell Russell, Ricky Russell and Pernell Yancey.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 6 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Harold Watkins. Burial will be in New Corinth Baptist Church cemetery. No public viewing is scheduled. Funeral services will be limited to fifty attendees selected by the family. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing will be observed.
