79, a resident of 5738 NC Hwy 96N, died Sunday, July 3 at her home. She was the daughter of the late George Wells and Julia Burroughs Wells of Sumpter, SC. She was a retired Insurance Underwriter.

She is survived by her husband, Theodore Bowden; a daughter, Felicia Brown of Orange, NJ; three sons, Kevin Bowden, Sr. of Bethlehem, PA, Terrence Bowden, Sr. (Angela) of Oxford, and Theodore Bowden, Jr. (AKA Junebug) of Orange, NJ; ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 9 at 12pm at Huntsville Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, July 8 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. Thanking you in advance for observing Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
