Dorothy White Bobbitt, 87, of West Hillsboro Street, Creedmoor, transitioned on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham. She was born in Granville County to the late Willie and Pherbia White.

She is survived by her children: Willie Patrick Bobbitt (Alisa) of Holly Springs, Arthur Lee Bobbitt, Jr, Teresa Bobbitt, Nancy Gattis and Pheobe Ann Bobbitt all of Creedmoor, and Amelia Ann White of Apex; ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm, Monday, August 31, 2026, at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 to 1pm, Monday.  Viewing will be from 3pm to 5pm Sunday, August 30 at Wright Funeral Home.
