30, a resident of 2578 Mint Julep Drive, Creedmoor, died Sunday, November 18 at Duke Pavilion Medical Center. He was the son of Dorothy Hunter Cooper Puryear of Henderson and Donovan Cooper, Sr. of Oxford. He was an employee of Certainteed.

Other survivors include his wife, Tina Southerland Cooper; three step-children, Kevin Lamar Bullock  and Antonio Lamont Jones both of Warrenton, and Destiny Shanice Jones of Creedmoor; and two sisters, Chanta Cooper of Norlina, and Jacinta Green of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 25 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, November 24 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
