Donnell Thornton, Jr, 49, of Greyson Drive, Durham passed away on Tuesday, January 7, at Duke University Hospital. He was the son of Delphyne Webster and Donnell Thornton, Sr.

He is survived by three daughters: Akayla Harris of Creedmoor, NC, Dakita Thornton of Cary, NC, Taylor Thornton of Louisiana; one son, Troyrian Thornton of Louisiana; companion, Shashawn Anderson of Durham, NC; mother, Delphyne Webster of Youngsville, NC; father, Donnell Thornton, Sr of Oxford, NC; step-mother, Pearl Thornton of Stem, NC; two brothers: David Edwards of Youngsville, NC and Keith Thornton of Creedmoor, NC; one sister, Kelly Thornton of Stem, NC and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Jackie Young and Bishop Garland Heggie.
