Donald Cordell Mitchell, 77, a resident of Oxford, transitioned on Wednesday, December 10, at Select Specialty Hospital in Durham. He was born in Granville County to the late Charlie Mitchell and Hattie Ann Howard Mitchell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm, Sunday, December 21 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 5pm to 7pm Saturday, December 20 at the funeral home.
