72, a resident of 465 Dick Faines Road, died Saturday, August 27 at Duke Hospice. He was the son of the late Edgar L. Scott and Ruth Taylor Scott.

He is survived by his daughter, Tarsher Scott of the home; three sons, Bryan Scott of Knightdale, Anthony Scott and Tony Scott both of Henderson; a sister, Fannie Mae Matthews of Raleigh; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 3 at 12pm at Antioch United Church of Christ by Rev. Gregory Milton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, September 2 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. All attendees are asked to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing of six feet or more.
