81, a resident of 305 Taylor Street, died Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Herman Norman and Lillian Pope Norman. She was a 1958 graduate of the former Mary Potter Academy.

She is survived by three daughters, Lillian Ladell Norman, Teressa Taylor and Valerie Webb all of Oxford; a sister and brother, Mildred Norman Boyd and Thomas Norman (Corrine) both of Oxford; four grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 20 at 2pm at Penn Avenue Baptist Church by Rev. Willie S. Darby and Rev. Carl Wardrett. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing has been scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
