Deidra Akkia Lancaster, 59, a resident of Tom Matthews Rd, Bullock, transitioned on Tuesday, September 3, in Oxford, NC. She was born in New York to the late Edward and Jessie Braswell Lancaster.

She is survived by her children: Monaka Hawley-Mann of Oxford, NC, Kadesha Hester of Bullock, NC and Kiara Hawley of Oxford, NC, along with thirteen grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and caring friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30p.m., Sunday, September 15 at Refuge Temple.

The family is at 6123 Cornwall Rd, Oxford NC.
