86, a resident of 4697 Hancock Road, died Saturday, Feb. 13 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert Henry Davis and Mary Allen Davis. She was a long-time nurse in the office of Dr. Francine Chavis.

She is survived by her husband, Elijah Sidney of Oxford; a daughter and son, Deborah S. Oakley, and Wayne Sidney both of Oxford; a sister, Lula Rankin of Oxford; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 3:00 P.M. at Olive Grove Baptist Church cemetery by Rev. Johnnie White. A viewing (limited to not over ten people in the room at any one time/face coverings and social distancing of six feet or more) will be held Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 1pm-3pm at Wright Funeral Home.
