Deborah Harris Yancey, 67, of Knightdale, transitioned on December 21, 2025 at her residence. She was bon in Granville County to the late Clara Parker Overby and Robert Harris. She was a retired driver for Chapel Hill Transit.

She is survived by two daughters: Tynikia Yancey and Dominique Parker both of Knightdale; a bonus son, Omar Sizemore; five grandchildren and one sister Esther Hester of Knightdale.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm, Sunday, December 28 at Morning Star Baptist Church (411 Roxboro Rd. Oxford, NC 27565). Burial will follow in the church cemetery on Antioch Rd. Viewing will be from 5pm to 7pm, Saturday, December 27 at Wright Funeral Home.
