69, a resident of 605 Sagefield Way transitioned Sunday, April 14 at his home, surrounded by the love of family. He was the son of the late Ervin Clark and Lula Seine. He was a member of Woodsworth Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Deacons.

He is survived by his wife, Elvin Curtis Jefferson; three daughters, Francine Mitchell (Toby) of Oxford, Tiffany Summers (Marcus) of Garner and Tonya Crews of Durham; and one son, Samuel Jefferson, Jr. (Shannon) of South Hill, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 20 at 12pm at Woodsworth Baptist Church by Pastor Glendora Hargrove. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, April 19 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
