65, a resident of 337 Holly Creek Landing, Creedmoor, died Monday, May 1 at Maria Marham Health. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a supervisor of a printing company.

He is survived by A daughter and three sons: Shanetta Woods of Creedmoor, David Jamal Hobgood of Henderson, Shaun Grier and Mandel Grier both of Charlotte; a sister and two brothers: Sandra Woods, Thomas Woods and Anthony Woods all of Charlotte.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 6 at 2pm by Rev. Vaughn W. Brayboy at First Baptist Church in Oxford. Burial will be in the Allen-Hawley Family cemetery in Roughmont. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be required. A viewing has been scheduled for Friday, May 5 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home.
