55, a resident of 3004 Bryants Hill Rd., died Thursday in Lawrenceville, VA. he was the son of Hallie Daye and the late David Daye. He was a professional truck driver.

He is survived by a daughter, Nickie Harris of Oxford; a mother, Hallie Daye of Durham; a sister, Lois Daye Spearman of Durham; a brother, Herbert Daye of Oxford; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. A private burial will be in the Daye family cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
