80, a resident of Orange City, NJ, died Saturday, July 4 . She was the daughter of the late Charlie Webb, Jr. and Mary Wilson Webb of Granville County. She was a 1958 graduate of the former Mary Potter Academy. She was a retired thirty-five year employee of the Essex County School System and Peerless Corp.. She was a member of Messiah Baptist Church.

She is survived by five brothers, Charles Webb, Robert Webb, Carl Webb (Patricia), Avon Webb (Valerie), and Clifton Webb; four sisters, Gloria Moore, Mary Ray, Priscilla Harris, and Brenda Webb. Close and devoted family members Theodore Bowden, Sr. (Dorothy). Kevin Bowden, Sr., and Terrance Bowden, Sr. (Angela), and her caretakers over the years, Theodore Bowden, Jr. and Felicia Brown. In addition to her parents, Ms. Whitehead was also predeceased by her husband, Roosevelt Whitehead, a brother, Rickey C. Webb, and a great-nephew, Darin Webb.

A graveside service (limited to fifty (50) people and Covid-19 protocol/face mask and social distancing of six feet or more) will be conducted Sunday, July 12 at 11:00 A.M. at Huntsville Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing will be held Saturday, July 11 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. observing Corvid-19 guidelines (no more than ten (10) people in an indoor gathering at any one time. If you do not have a face mask, please be safe, and stay home.
