a resident of Raleigh Road, died Tuesday, June 12 at Granville Medical Center. He was the son of Collis Norman, Sr. and Emma Spruill Norman.

Other survivors include his wife, Ajulonyodier Othow; children, Nikenia "Abigail" Rice, Mercedes Norman Farmer (Robert), Jasmine Norman, Princess Norman and Collis Raymon Norman III; grandchildren, Akwaci Norman, Joshia Farmer,Kairi Farmer and Jeremiah Norman;brothers, Tony Spruill  and Elvis Norman; sisters, Priscilla Honablew, Martha Norman and Mary Norman; five aunts, Carrie L. Norman, Elnora Spruill, Ernestine Spruill, Saundra Spruill, and Regina Rawls; an uncle, Elder Ronald Spruill.

A prayer service will be held at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, June 14 at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church. Elder Ronald Spruill will conduct funeral services Friday, June 15 at 12:00 P.M. at Washington Norfolk Headquarters Building in Roper, NC. Burial will be in the Chavis Family cemetery in Oxford at 6:00 P.M. Friday, June 15.
