75, a resident of 4022 Shady Brook Drive, Kittrell, transitioned Wednesday, Sept 24 at Maria Parham Medical Center. He was the son of the late Timothy Greer and Rachael Cox Greer. He was a retired accounting office manager.

He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Lawson Gatling; two sons, Reginald Clayton Gatling (Veronica) of Durham and Kerry Christopher Gatling of Kittrell; two sisters, Phgyllis Greer  and Kathryn Showers both of Aulander, NC; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Sept. 28 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home by Rev. Darryl Howard. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home.
