56, a resident of 418 Person Street, died Monday, March 29 at UNC Hospital. She was the daughter of the late William Hayes "Red" Puryear and Cora Mae Doe Puryear.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Davis; her daughter, Lakenda Bradford of Raleigh; a sister, Tammie Alston of Oxford; two brothers, Marcus Puryear of Oxford and William Lamont Puryear of Franklinton; and one grandchild.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, April 3 at Huntsville Baptist Church by Rev. Helen Evans. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, April 2 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home (all services will observe Covid-19 guidelines of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more. Only ten people are allowed in the viewing room at any one time).
