Christine Puryear Davis' Obituary
68, a native of Granville County and a resident of 1311 Fay Street in Durham, died Wednesday, May 23 at her home. She was the daughter of the late John Puryear and Elizabeth Hawley Puryear.
She is survived by two sons, Russell Puryear of Atlanta, GA and Michel Junior Davis of Henderson; a daughter, Tanika Simeus of Durham; three brothers, Ulize Puryear of Charlotte, Joe Puryear and Mack Arthur Puryear both of Oxford; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 27 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hawley Family Cemetery.
