66, a resident of 1010 S. Garnett St., Henderson, died Saturday, January 30 at Universal Healthcare. He was the son of the late Louise Wright Evans and Marshall L. Fields.

He is survived by a daughter, Ann Wright-Joiner (Wayne) of Wake Forest; a son, Charles E. Wright, Jr. of Henderson; two granddaughters, Meshauna and Theressia; two great granddaughters, Ny'ema and Ny'ame; four sisters, Marylene Wright (Willie), Joetta Harb (Sharif), Carolyn Alston (Edward) all of Oxford, and Anita Lanier (Greg) of Palm Coast, FL,; two brothers, Ricky Evans (Margaret), and Deacon Joe D. Evans, Jr. (Daphne) both of Oxford; one uncle, Deacon Leon Wright (Doris) of Durham. He was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Wright Robertson, and Donna Wright; two brothers, Marshall Wright and Michael Wright.

Rev. Ronnie Green will conduct memorial services Sunday, February 7 at 12:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no viewing.
