Charles "Charlie Boy" Packer, was born February 22, 1958, in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Charlie D. Packer and Earnestine Marie Hobgood Packer. He departed this life on February 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness.

He is survived by his daughter, Jocelyn Nicole; son, Charles Michael; sisters: Charlene Packer Sandford (Lambert) of Madison, AL and Margarette Shealey of Schenectady, NY, and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, June 6, 2026 in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the St Stephen Cemetery on Satterwhite Rd. There will be no viewing.
