81, a resident of 5581 Hebron Road, died Thursday, Sept. at Duke Medical Center. He was the son of the late Augustus Oakley and Ruth Crews Oakley. He was a retired Tele-Communications Manager.

He is survived by his wife, Leola Burris Oakley; three daughters, Kathy Spencer of Charlotte, Roxanne Brown of Duluth, GA and Charlene Oakley of Oxford; three sons, Ronald Charles Oakley of Netcong, NJ, Patrick Oakley of Las Vegas, NV and Ronnie Burris of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Lisa Jackson of Tampa, FL; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, Sept. 25 at Evans Solid Rock Church For All People, 1017 Emeron Road in Wake Forest by Pastor A. R. Wood, Sr. No viewing is scheduled.
