71, a resident of Crescent Green ALF in Carrboro, died Sunday, June 14. He was the son of the late Elbert Lee Edgerton, Sr. and Ella Mae Daye Edgerton. He was a retired Commercial Construction worker.

He is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Edgerton Taborn (Sylvester) and Patricia Moore both of Durham; three brothers, David Edgerton (Annie) of Oxford, Bobby Edgerton and James Bernard Edgerton both of Durham; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A graveside service (with social distancing and limited to fifty people) will be conducted Wednesday, June 17 at Union AME Zion Church by Rev. George L. Bullock. Please remember your face mask.
