Catherine Burwell Peace, 81, of 4537 Peaceful Lane, Kittrell, transitioned on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Granville County to the late Moses and Ophelia Brandon Burwell.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Adriene Peace Fuller and Sandra Daniels (Bryce) both of Creedmoor, Michelle Peace Lindsey (Brian) of Raleigh, and April Peace of Oxford; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 17 at Pettiford Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Alvin Downing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, August 16 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel.
