78, a resident of 3141 Lewis Road, transitioned Friday, August 30 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Elvin Jones and Ora Downey Jones. She was a retired thirty-three year employee of the former Burlington Industries.

She is survived by her husband Luther Fields, Jr.; one daughter, Amy Fields of Oxford; two sons, Martin Luther Fields and Donald Fields both of Oxford; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 4 at 1pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jones. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home.
