Betty Bagley Cross, a Granville County native, transitioned on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at her residence in Wake Forest. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Rosa Wilson Bagley. She was a retired Health Care Technician for Murdoch Center in Butner.

She is survived by two sons: Anthony Rose and Colonel Rose both of Oxford; two step children: Bessie Cross and Cecil Cross; two sisters: Deloris Jones and Patricia Brummell both of Oxford; one brother, Carlton Bagley (Sheila) of Lexington; three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm, Saturday, April 18 at Huntsville Baptist Church (6160 NC-96, Oxford, NC 27565). Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 5pm to 7pm Friday, April 17 at Wright Funeral Home.
