84, a resident of 902 East F. Street, died Friday, Sept. 2 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert Allen and Addie Lyons Allen.

She is survived by three daughters,Robie Clark of the Bronx, NY, Deborah Harris and Rhonda Allen both of Durham; six brothers, Ernest Allen, Herman Allen, both of New York, NY, James Allen, William Allen, George Allen and Marshall Allen all of Butner; four sisters, Ethelene Bligen and Florine Allen both of New York, NY, Yvonne Allen of the Bronx, NY and Mazie Thompson of Burner; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.
