Benjamin Williams, 70, died Thursday, March 19 at his residence in Durham. He was the son of the late Booker T. Williams and Esther Daye Williams. He was a form employee of Murdoch Redevelopment Center and a veteran of the United States Marines.

He is survived by five sisters, Justine Williams of Butner, Diane Wilson and Pauline Winston both of Durham, Barbara Green and Gloria Williams both of Oxford; and five brothers, Sam Williams and Antonie Williams both of Durham, Theodore Williams and Booker T. Williams, Jr. both of Oxford, and Kenneth Williams of New Hampshire.

A private graveside service will be conducted Friday, March 27 at 1:00 P.M. at Union Chapel A.M.E. Church in Wilton. Remember Corona Virus protocol requires that all gatherings be limited to a maximum of 50 people. Please take this virus seriously.
