66, a resident of 103 East Dale Drive, died Tuesday, May 5, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Shaffner and Catherine Hunt Shaffner. She was the manager of Jake's Apartments. She was a member of New Hope Granville Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters and a brother, Ernestine S. Howard and Shebby S. Hicks both of Oxford, and Earl Shaffner of Rougemont.

A graveside service  (limited to 50 people with social distancing) conducted by Rev. James Issac III, will be held Saturday, April 9 at 1:00 P.M. at New Hope Granville Baptist Church cemetery.
