63, a resident of 6675 Poplar Creek Road, died Thursday, August 25 at Maria Parham Medical Center. He was the son of the late Dorsey Hargrove and Thelma Burwell Hargrove.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Williams Hargrove; A daughter and son, Shaunique Denise Hargrove of Creedmoor and Barry Tyrell Hargrove of Franklinton; five sisters, Marjorie Harris. Elaine Thorpe, Vickie Williams, Markita Hargrove and Tanya Carroll (Tony) all of Oxford; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, August 29 at 1:00 P.M. at Meadowview Memorial Park by Rev. Tony Gregory. A viewing has been scheduled for Sunday, August 28 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
