Barbara Elaine Davis Canady, 59, of 1004 W. Young Street, Henderson, transitioned Sunday June 1, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to Martha Grey Davis and the late Reverend Nathaniel Davis.

She is survived by three sons: Jerome Canady of Oxford, Aaron Canady (Dorthea) of Louisburg and Christopher Canady of Henderson; four grandchildren; her mother Martha Grey Davis; one sister, Charlene Hargrove of Wake Forest and one brother, Renwick Davis of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday, June 7 at Rowland Chapel Christian Church (2293 Epsom Rocky Ford Road, Henderson, NC 27537). Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be at the church from 12pm to 2pm, Saturday.
