60, a resident of 104 Knowles St., died Monday, May 24 at Duke Medical Center. He was the son of the late Isaac Odell Hunt and Mary Spencer Umstead. He was a United States Army veteran and a brick mason.

He is survived by a brother, Dennis Spencer (Mary Ann) of Oxford; three sisters, Constance Spencer of Hephzibah, GA, Lisa S. Pettiford (Ronald) of Roxboro, NC and Aretha "Renee" Best (Shawnta) of Oxford, NC; a vast number of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, May 29 at 2:00 P.M. at Huntsville Baptist Church cemetery by Rev. David Morton. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, May 28 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. The family request that all attendees observe Codid-19 protocol of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
