74, a resident of 3115 Sterl Carrington Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Oscar McGhee and Bessie McGhee. She was a former secretary at Murdoch School and a member of Timothy Darling Presbyterial Church.

She is survived by her husband Gerney Mctura Anderson; a son and daughter, Parrish Anderson of Niteroi, Brazil and Yolanda Anita Anderson of Asheville; a brother, Dwight McGhee of Boston, MA; two sisters, Alma Hines and Ernestine Smith both of New York, NY; and one grandchild.
