31, a resident of 104 Leak St., died Saturday, July 23 at Duke Medical Center. He was the son of Anthony Anderson and Wanda Thornton both of Oxford.

Other survivors include his daughter, Akhia Anderson of Oxford; two brothers, Cecory Anderson and Cameron Downey both of Oxford; five sisters, Tempest Thornton and Shakira Downey both of Greensboro, Nia Thornton of Durham, Kaylyn Anderson of Henderson and Aleelah Anderson of Oxford; and his paternal grandmother, Mary Alice Oakley also of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 28 at 11am on the grounds of Wright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 27 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more are requested at all services.
