64, a resident of 213 Orange Street, died Thursday, Feb. 29 at his home. He was the son of the late Garland Smith and Virginia Jones.

He is survived six cousins, Catherine "Rennie" McGhee and Gloria "Jeannie" Green both of Oxford, Gloria Sledge of Durham. Madelyn Rolling and Tangy Morris both of East Orange, NJ and Scarlett Lindblad of Forest Hill, MD.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, Mar.10 at 2pm at First Baptist Church by Rev. Edward Davis. Facial coverings and social distancing are required. There will be no public viewing.
