Anthony Rose, 63, of Alston Court, transitioned on Monday, May 4, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Granville County to the late Colonel Rose Sr and Betty Bagley Cross.

He is survived by a brother, Colonel Rose Jr. of Oxford, two aunts: Deloris Jones and Patricia Brummell both of Oxford; one uncle, Carlton Bagley (Shelia) of Lexington, and host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm, Friday, May 8, 2026 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Huntsville Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be from 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday, May 7 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
