83, a native of Granville County and the daughter of the late Grant Peace, Sr. and Louvenia Lewis Peace, died Tuesday, October 6 in Pittsburg, PA. she was the fourth child born to this union.

She was educated in the Granville County Public School System, and in her early childhood joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. On February 4, 1954 she married Titus Lee Williams and from this fifty year union four children were born. In 1954 she and Titus moved to Pittsburg, PA and in Pittsburg she united with Nazarene Baptist Church, where she and Titus both served on the Board of Deacons. She enjoyed singing with the Gospel Choir, Senior Choir and the Mass Choir. Her favorite songs were "I Found the Answer" and Only What You Do for Christ Will Last."

She was employed with West Penn Hospital where she retired after twenty-eight years of dedicated service.

Annie loved God, Life, and Family. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Titus Lee Williams and her beloved daughter, Brenda.

Annie leaves behind to cherish her beautiful life and memory: sons, Titus Williams, Jr. (Tracy) and James Williams (Roberta); daughter, Melinda Jean Johnson (James); sisters Priscilla LeMay and Mabel Williams; brothers, Grant Peace, Jr., Leonard Peace and Garland Peace; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a myriad of other loving nieces, nephews, church family and caring friends.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 12 at 12:30 P.M. at Nazarene Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Burial was in Homewood Cemetery, also in Pittsburg. Arrangements were by Aldrich Funeral Home in Munhall PA. Local announcement by Wright Funeral Home.
