97, beloved wife of the late Edward Butler Marable, Sr., sadley passed away on Tuesday, April 11 2023 at the age of ninety-seven in Stem, North Carolina. She was born January 19, 1926 in Orange, New Jersey to the late Vito Antonio De Marino and Bridget De Marino (nee Valvano). Ann was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers: Mary Iatesta (Dominic), Madeline Durell (Earl), Rose Mary De Marino, Bridget Stoltman (Thomas), Michael De Marino, Vito De Marino, Jr., and Frank De Marino.

She was also a former resident of Orange, NJ. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of her community. She loved sewing, crocheting, and playing cards and word search games on her Apple Ipad. She was a wonderful loving mother who enjoyed outings with her family and was always there for them. She is survived by four children, Sallyann Marable Hobson of Stem, Barbara McQueary of Piscataway, NJ, Edward B. Marable, Jr. of Orange, NJ and Joseph N. Marable of Bermuda; her grandchildren. Timothy L. Weaver, Jr. (Michelle), Angela N. Thomas, Judah E. Marable, and Honor R. Marable; great grandchildren, Camille A. Weaver, Maia L. Weaver Negron, Maxwell H. Weaver Negron, and Morrison J. Weaver Negron, Jayden J. Thomas, Kyle A. Thomas and her loving nephew, Robert J. De Marino (Kathleen) and a vast number of cousins in North Carolina.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 11:00am at Elmwood United Presbyterian Church, 135 Elmwood Avenue, East Orange, New Jersey 07018.
