71, a resident of 503 West C Street, Apt. 1D, Butner, died Monday, July 8 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Bennie Fields and Vinell Young Fields. She was a retired employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Mitchell;  and two sisters, Nell Fields of Butner, and Brenda Latta of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 13 at 12:00 P.M. by Rev. Gerald Latta at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Huntsville Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, July 12 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
