Alfred Wood Jr's Obituary
64, a resident of 321 Keene Street, Henderson, died Saturday, January 20 at UNC Hospital. He was a native of Portsmouth, VA, the son of the late Alfred Wood, Sr. and Ruby Mae Vaughan.
He is survived by two daughters, Juanita Renee Wood of Portsmouth, VA and Carolyn W. White of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Patricia Barnes of Virginia Beach, VA and Carol Jones of Lakewood, Florida; one brother, Vernell Woods, Jr.(Sheila) of Suffolk, Virginia; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Michael Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Wiley Robinson.
