16, a resident of 206 Old Route 75, died Tuesday, January 21. He was the son of Carlos Avila and Guillermina Hernandez.

Other survivors include a sister, Sandi Avila of the home; and two brothers, Roberto Avila and Aaron Avila both of the home; a vast number of uncles, aunts and other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 27 at 11:00 A.M. at 206 Old NC Route 75 in Stem. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 26 from 4-6 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
