73, a resident of 4512 Cannady Mill Road, died Friday, March 23 at his home. He was the son of the late Alexander Hart and Mary Clack Hart of Person County. He was a former employee of McFall Logging Company and was self-employed at New Arrival Pulpwood Company.

He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Allen Hart; a son, Willie junior Hart of Long Island, NY; six daughters, Jeannette Chavis (Ben), Teresa Bullock (David), Rose Cozart (Harvey) and Nora Cheek (Richard) all of Henderson, NC, Miranda Braswell (Jessie) of Garner and Channetta Henderson of Irvington, NJ; a devoted brother, Earl Hart (Francine) of Stovall; six sisters, Shirley Brandon (James) and Eula Mae Sanford both of Stovall, Emma Wright of Henderson, Brenda Faye Chavis of Oxford and Elizabeth Hart of Newark, NJ; a sister-in-law, Ruby Little of Butner; two brothers-in-law, Raymond Allen of Kittrell and John Thomas Allen of Far Rockaway, NY; nineteen grandchildren; and thirty-nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 28 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. John Gooch, Rev. George L. Bullock and Minister Samuel Hart, Jr. Burial was in Union AME Zion Church cemetery.
