96, a native of Granville County, died Friday, August 14 at the home of her daughter in Durham. She was the daughter of the late Alf Anderson and Artelia Taborn Anderson.

She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Rogers Ingram of Clayton, Brenda Rogers Person of Durham, and Shelia Rogers Gilchrist of Butner; two sons, Eugene Rogers and Larry D. Rogers both of Oxford; twenty-one grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.

A graveside service (limited to fifty (50) attendees selected by the family following Covid-19 guidelines of face masks and social distancing of six feet or more) will be conducted Wednesday, August 19 at 10:00 A.M. at Meadowview Memorial Park. There will be no public viewing.
