73, a resident of 204 Railroad Avenue, died Friday at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert Harris, Jr. and Pearline Downey Harris. She is survived by her husband, John "Hutch" Hutcherson; a daughter, Tina Battle of Oxford; a son Delawrence Brooks of Washington, DC; three sisters, Bertha Smith, Geneva Strong and Bettie Winston all of Oxford; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Moses Fletcher. burial will be in New Grassy Creek Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home and at other times at 204 Railroad Avenue.
